Prenatal Nourishing Smoothie

Nutrient-rich smoothie with orange, blackberry, kiwi, apricot and prune.

This lovely drink for the pre-birth period brings together nutrients that are especially valuable during pregnancy: the folate in orange juice is associated with a lower risk of certain birth defects, the iron in prune juice supports the blood in carrying oxygen to the baby, and the calcium in milk plays a role in helping to protect bone health. Blackberry, apricot, and kiwi add vitamin C to support recovery after birth.
