Ingredients

  • 500 g whiting fillet
  • 6 spring onions
  • 4 shallots
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • ¼ bunch dill
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ½ small glass breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ glass olive oil (for frying)

Method

Rinse the skinned, deboned whiting fillet well and cut into very small pieces. Finely chop the dill and parsley. Slice the spring onions into rings and dice the peeled shallots small. Put the finely chopped whiting in a deep bowl and add the shallots, spring onions, herbs and egg yolk. Mix and knead well. Take walnut-sized pieces, roll them, and coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in olive oil until golden. Rest on paper to drain the excess oil, then serve. Enjoy!
