Ingredients
- 275 g Brussels sprouts
- 1 cup grated cheese (any kind you like)
- Optional: salt, red pepper, thyme
Method
Fill a deep pot a little over halfway with water and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, boil the Brussels sprouts until soft. Cut the boiled sprouts in half and scoop out the insides. Put the scooped-out insides into a wide bowl. Add the cheese and the spices you like and mix well. Fill the sprout halves with the mixture. Arrange them on a tray and bake in a preheated 180°C oven until the cheese on top turns golden. Your cheese-stuffed Brussels sprout boats are ready. Enjoy!
Tasty note: You can chop some colourful peppers into the filling to give your boats a different flavour.
